Signs You May Need Emergency Dental Care

- Severe Pain – this is a sign of infection that may require antibiotics as well as pain relief medication

- Accident – an injury to your mouth/jaw should be seen immediately

- Cracked or Chipped Tooth - it may not seem serious, but ignoring a small crack or chip in your tooth can create larger dental issues

- Lost Tooth – assuming it was a permanent tooth, there’s a possibility the tooth could be saved if seen in time.

- Excessive bleeding - this may be due to gum disease, an accident or any number of other causes

- Pus or Infection – this type of infection could actually spread if ignored

My experience at Catalina Smiles Dentistry exceeded my expectations! It was my first time coming to this clinic and I’m not a fan of the dentist so I was pretty nervous and unsure of what to expect. From the moment I walked in and was greeted I felt comfortable and welcome. The tech who worked with me was so friendly and helped to make me as comfortable as possible while doing the X-rays. The hygienist and the doctor also made me feel comfortable and patiently answered all of my questions. For a person who fears the dentist they made my experience the absolute best it could be and although I’m not looking forward to future visits I’m not afraid of going back to them. Based on my exam today, I am going to need more regular checkups to monitor my dental health and I will hands down recommend them to anyone! Thank you to the entire staff. You all do great work and I appreciate you making me feel so comfortable!
